D. J. Kyle Elliott, CFP

Mr. Elliott serves as Principal and Portfolio Manager at Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC and sits on the Firm's Investment Committee. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Elliott was a Senior Vice President with Wachovia Bank's Wealth and Asset Management Division. Before joining Wachovia, Mr. Elliott worked with Central Carolina Bank's Trust Department as Vice President and Trust Officer. Mr. Elliott brings over 19 years of investment management experience to the firm.

Mr. Elliott is a graduate of Campbell University with a BBA in Trust Management. He is a graduate of the Southeastern Trust School and the College for Financial Planning and holds the designation Certified Financial Planner.

Mr. Elliott is the past President of the Durham Orange Estate Planning Council. In addition, he has been a member of the Wake County Estate Planning Council, the Durham Sales and Marketing Executives, the United Way Evaluation Board, and the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army.
