Mr. Elliott serves as Principal and Portfolio Manager at Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC and sits on the Investment Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Elliott was a Senior Vice President with Wachovia Bank’s Wealth and Asset Management Division. Before joining Wachovia, Mr. Elliott worked with Central Carolina Bank’s Trust Department as Vice President and Trust Officer. Mr. Elliott brings over 23 years of investment management experience to the firm.

Mr. Elliott is a graduate of Campbell University with a BBA in Trust Management. He is a graduate of the Southeastern Trust School and the College for Financial Planning and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. Mr. Elliott also holds his Series 66 securities license.

Mr. Elliott is a current member and past President of the DurhamOrange Estate Planning Council and also a member of the Wake County Estate Planning Council. In addition, he serves on the Advisory Board of Salvation Army Community Center in Wake County and has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army in Durham County. He has also been involved in the United Way Evaluation Board.
